Motion to Minute Order No. 08-81: Took the following actions regarding zone file number 2007-078; a general plan amendment and associated actions concerning the Clark Precast, LLC’s proposal for the redevelopment of a 90-acre portion of the former Spreckels industrial site located at 40600 County Road 18C and 40979 Best Ranch Road:
Received staff presentation, accepted public comment, provided direction to staff as indicated by Board input, and extended the comment period for the mitigated negative declaration to the close of business on March 26, 2008.
The following individuals addressed the Board of Supervisors during public comment: Tim Taron and Dave Clark representing the applicant; Matt Morehart, Neal D. Peart, Rick Kirkwood, Tom Stallard, Linda Henigan, Alan Smith, Art Pimentel, Xavier Tafoya, Kent Kalfee, Jesse Ortiz as Chair of the Latino Community, Christina Blackman with the Woodland Chamber of Commerce, Karen Sternes-Mengali, and Brenda Cedarblade.
The following individuals submitted letters to the Board of Supervisors: Nancy Younger, Matthew and Sally Morehart, Warren Stanley Smith, Kurtis Sternes, Bob and Sue Sternes; letter, including documents and a DVD (without content description) from Brenda Cedarblade and other area residents.
