The Board of Supervisors received a presentation from staff during a General Plan workshop regarding planning and zoning considerations as they pertain to the Hilltop Estates Subdivision, received public comment and took the following actions:
A. Passed a motion of intent to designate Alternative 3 - Expanded Agriculture as follows:
This option would designate all of Lots 8-12 as Agriculture. The Monument Hills growth boundary in the 2030 General Plan update would be adjusted to exclude the 119 acres designated as Agriculture. B. The Planned Development No. 9 (PD-9) zoning ordinance will remain as it is. Lots 8-11 could not be further divided. Lots 8-11 would continue to be allowed one residence per parcel. No residential development could occur on Lot 12. C. Removed the following verbiage from the staff report regarding Alternative 3 – Expanded Agriculture: “Each 20-acre parcel would be allowed to have homes."
